This is the story of what would fondly come to be known as The Heather Trials, and how the people behind them helped create the first ever expression of The Balvenie made entirely with ingredients grown on its Dufftown estate.
This single malt is part of The Balvenie Stories series from the Speyside distillery.
A collection of single malt whiskies, The Balvenie Stories range of whiskies are specifically designed to represent "tales of character, endeavour and generational knowledge gathered at The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland."
