Dark coloured wrappers with outstanding presentation. It was understood to have been common practice within certain Havana factories, particularly for prestigious clients such as Davidoff & Cie., Geneva, for an additional cigars to occasionally be included in select cabinets of 50 during the final stages of packing. These surplus cigars were often those exhibiting matching wrapper tones that could not otherwise complete another cabinet due to slight natural variations in colour shade. In this instance, the additional cigars appear perfectly matched to the cabinet's darker wrapper palette, suggesting careful selection at the factory prior to shipment. Cigars destined for Davidoff were subject to especially rigorous standards, with only the finest examples selected to satisfy the company's renowned demands for quality and consistency. The cabinet bears the distinguished stamp “Specially Selected in Havana for Davidoff & Cie., Geneva,” reflecting the exceptional standards required by one of the most prestigious names in the history of Havana cigars.
