Ex. Arthur Smith & Co. Excellent condition, appearance and bouquet. The inside of the original flap label bears the following printed notice:
NOTICE. As unscrupulous Sellers are trying to supplant our brand LA FLOR DE HENRY CLAY, created by JULIAN ALVAREZ by another brand, in which the name of another Senor J. Alvarez is introduced in a very conspicuous manner and the general appearance of our boxes very much imitated we have resolved, that the present flap-label shall from this date bear the signature of our Havana Managing Director, Mr. GUSTAVO BOCK, and we beg to warn herewith all consumers of our brand, that all boxes devoid of this signature must be considered spurious.
