Part of Waterford's Single Farm Origin Series, the first release of Lakefield Irish single malt whisky has been made exclusively with barley harvest from Lakefield farm in 2016. Lakefield 1.1 has been matured in a combination of casks for three and a half years before being bottled at 50% abv. The nose has clove, orchard fruits and rhubarb, making way for a palate with a rich texture and flavours of baking bread, chocolate, warm custard, rhubarb and apple tart and clove.
